Hello all, today is a more serious day than most others. Today we honor those who survived threw some of the toughest times in their lives. This is a very special day for me; as many of my closest friends and role models wouldn't be here today is they had succeeded. Take this day to cherish your loved ones that wouldn't be alive today and tell them how much they mean to you. And to all my friends that have struggled with suicidal thoughts in the past, stay strong. I'm always here if you need someone to talk to ^.^ Love y'all <3

Hello all, it's been quiet a while!! As some of you already know, today is the Trans* Day of Remembrance. This day honors those who have died due to hate crimes, hate attacks, and suicide due to their identity. Please teach people what being trans* really means and spread the word about the injustices served to trans* individuals on a daily basis. Educating the ignorant will help lessen trans*
Hello all, sorry that I'm posting a little late for this event, but here we go!! October 26th was Intersex Awareness Day. Intersex individuals are those with genitalia or body parts from both sexes. Intersex people are often misrepresented and misunderstood in modern culture; mainly due to a lack of public education on the matter. Try to spread intersex awareness whenever you may travel to help stop
Hello everyone!! Today sparks the beginning of Ally Week!! :D This week us LGBTQ folks take some time to show appreciation to our supportive straight allies that give us the courage and support to come out and provide so much love where LGBTQ-phobes try to enforce hate. Thank you all so very much for supporting the LGBTQ indi
Sorry for posting so late today!! I know a lot of you forgot to wear purple, but it's my fault for not reminding you all like last time. Anyways, today I asked you all to wear purple in honor of Spirit Day. Spirit Day is day to raise awareness about LGBTQ bullying in schools. I personally have not witnessed that much LGBTQ related bullying at MHS, and we are definitely better than most schools I've heard of, but there is much that can be done around campus to stop bullies. If you hear someone making fun of someone else, stand up and say something!! You might be the only person in that victim's life to defend them, and you will give them hope and maybe even save their life. Keep your ear out for bullies, report to me if someone is being overly offensive towards actual or perceived LGBTQ individuals, and speak up for those that are scared to talk!!
Hello all!! I'm sure most of you already know that today is National Coming Out Day!! ^.^ On this day, many people around the United States, and even the world come out to their friends, family, loved ones, peers, and so forth. Please be supportive of anyone you know that has come out today; as coming out can be a very frightening experience for some. On a more personal note, I came all the way out with both of my identities to kids that I've been going to school with since 3rd grade. It was really awesome having all my friends there to support me, and I wanted to thank all of you!! <3
It is finally October of 2013!! This month we celebrate LGBTQ History Month and National Bullying Prevention Month with a few other holidays here and there. Take some time this month to think about how far the LGBTQ movement has come and where we still need to put in some work. Keep an extra eye out for bullying this month and try to stop any bullys in a peaceful manner. If you do find bullying around campus, please report it to me and we can decide the best way to eradicate the bullying tendencies. Remember to stay safe this Halloween and have fun trick-or-treating!!
Hello again!! Today is just as the title says, National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. HIV and AIDS are very serious and deadly diseases. The LGBTQ community has a bad associated with being blamed by many originally and to this day as the cause of these diseases. It is hard to know for sure where these disease started, especially since the heterosexual community have been some of the biggest transmitters of this disease worldwide for many years. Please show support today by wearing red today and giving extra support to anyone with these diseases.
Hello all!! I know this post is a little late, but I wanted to remind you all that it's Bisexual Visibility Day!! :D Celebrate with your
Today is National Suicide Awareness Day. Suicide is an issue that is very dear to my heart; for many of the people I love the most in the world have been seconds away from taking their own life. Some have even tried countless times in as many ways as you could think of. You may think suicide is "cowardly" or "selfish", but it is not at all. Suicide is a last resort for those who can't take the stress of life. Their problems pile up and culminate in the idea of ending it all. But you all should know that suicide is not the answer, nor ever has or will be the answer. The answer is to talk to someone. A parent, friend, teacher, anyone who is willing to listen. And if you think you have no one, you can always, ALWAYS turn to me for help. I'm all ears and will welcome you with open arms.
